Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout and assist customers.
• Aim to bag at least five items per bag without damaging contents.
• Bag items using reusable, plastic, or paper bags as appropriate.
• Assist in removing merchandise from the bottom of bascarts for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their car.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and product presentation.
• Inform customers of grocery specials and promotions.
• Return merchandise to store shelves after checkout.
• Gather bascarts and return them to designated areas.
• Clean spills and collect trash inside store and in the parking lot.
• Maintain cleanliness of all areas inside and outside the store.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise as needed.
• Know store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers.
• Reinforce safety programs and report unsafe conditions to management.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.
