Job summary

Price Rite of READING is hiring a Price Rite Receiver (PRRC) to ensure accurate receiving of deliveries and maintain a neat back room. The role emphasizes safe, efficient operations and protecting company assets while supporting exceptional customer service.

The position requires reading/writing English, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. It offers full-time hours in Reading, PA with opportunities for training and growth within the store.

Qualifications

• Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Ability to regularly lift 25 lbs., and occasionally 50 lbs.
• Ability to interact with Customers in a friendly and helpful way.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others.
• Ability to work all assigned schedules and comply with time policies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor grocery storage area for cleanliness, neatness and preparing for next shift (i.e. bale, reclamation, plastic and pallets).
• Handle damaged or return to stock products according to Company policy, prioritizing refrigerated items and sell-by dates.
• Verify all invoices for cost, retail and quantity accuracy.
• Greet all Customers and provide prompt, courteous service and assistance.
• Promote current charitable promotions to customers.
• Observe safety regulations when operating equipment.
• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.
• Unload trucks and transport merchandise as required.
