Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Somerville is seeking a Team Member to support the Grocery team by receiving and stocking shelves, maintaining displays, and assisting customers in line with WFM standards.

This role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. No prior retail experience is required; training is provided to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• In an 8-hour work day: standing/walking 6-8 hours.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensures a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked.
• Stocks and cleans grocery shelves, bulk bins, frozen and dairy case.
• Monitors and prevents spoilage and communicates waste.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling program and required worksheets.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties and ensures pricing accuracy.
• Provides excellent customer service and supports team members.
