Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Grocery Team Member to provide friendly, efficient service while stocking shelves, maintaining displays, and assisting customers in alignment with WFM standards.

You will break down deliveries, prepare products, stock fresh cases, and help ensure food safety and cleanliness. No retail experience required; must be able to lift 50 pounds and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
• Ability to learn product knowledge and merchandising standards.
• Willing to follow safety and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fresh, appealing displays by front-facing, stocking, and rotating products.
• Stock and clean grocery shelves, bulk bins, dairy and frozen cases.
• Monitor spoilage and communicate waste to supervisors.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties and ensure accurate pricing.
• Provide courteous, friendly service and assist customers as needed.
• Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Assist with sampling programs and inventory checks.
• Report safety hazards promptly.
