Superior Forge & Steel Corporation is hiring a Cylindrical Grinder Operator in New Castle, PA. You will set up and operate a grinder to finish forged rolls to blueprint specifications, ensuring tight tolerances and maintaining records.

The role offers an hourly wage up to $30+ with a $1,000 sign-on bonus and additional earning opportunities through the Production Incentive Bonus Program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous machining experience required
• Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment and/or heavy machinery required
• Must be able to read/interpret blueprints
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic problem solving and troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

• Set up and operation of grinder
• Reviewing and interpreting blueprints
• Grinding rolls to blueprint specification
• Preventative maintenance
• Keep complete and accurate production records
• Verify work assignments
• Maintain production requirements and specified tolerances
• Perform other department duties, as assigned
