Grind rubber-coated rolls to precise customer specificationsMonitor dimensions and quality throughout the grinding processRead and follow work orders and production instructionsUse precision measuring tools to ensure quality standards are metWork safely around industrial machinery and moving equipmentAssist with production and material handling activitiesMaintain a clean and safe work environment
Experience operating industrial grinding equipmentExperience using measuring tools, including calipers and diameter tapesExperience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, and manual lathes is a plusAbility to read and follow work orders and production instructionsStrong mechanical aptitude and attention to detailAbility to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive bending and stoopingAbility to safely handle and manipulate large equipment and materialsAbility to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 poundsAbility to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperaturesHigh School Diploma or GED preferred
