Job summary

Ecore International in Lancaster is seeking a Grinding Machine Operator on the 2nd shift (Mon-Thu) to operate grinding equipment, bag finished materials, and monitor quality.

You will use a forklift, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with data entry while supporting production goals in a safety-focused environment.

Candidates need 6 months forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and basic math; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent manufacturing/machine operator experience.
• Minimum 6 months of forklift experience.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations and understand units of measure.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate grinding equipment, bagging systems, and dust collection equipment with minimal supervision.
• Perform daily visual inspections and preventive maintenance of machinery and work areas.
• Review production orders and set up equipment for daily operations.
• Operate bagging equipment to fill and label bags according to production requirements.
• Load materials into grinders and monitor production flow.
• Inspect materials for contamination and maintain product quality standards.
• Move finished products to designated warehouse locations.
• Record production information and complete data entry accurately.
• Perform thorough cleaning of grinding equipment and surrounding areas after production runs.

Pay $18.00-$20.00 plus $1.55 per hour shift differential

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focusedGrinding Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating grinding equipment, bagging finished materials, monitoring product quality, and ensuring production goals are met safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has manufacturing experience, forklift operation experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.

This position also supports production documentation, inventory data entry, equipment maintenance, and cross-training opportunities throughout the department.

Machine Operation & Production

• Operate grinding equipment, bagging systems, and dust collection equipment with minimal supervision.
• Perform daily visual inspections and preventive maintenance of machinery and work areas.

• Safely operate a forklift to move raw materials and finished goods.
• Utilize pneumatic tools and other production equipment in accordance with safety guidelines.

Housekeeping & Continuous Improvement

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Prevent contamination during color changes and production transitions.
• Participate in cross-training and support other departments as needed.
• Attend production, safety, and company meetings as required.
