Job summary

Solve Industrial Motion Group is seeking a Grinder Operator to produce components to engineering and quality standards in a fast-paced warehouse.

You will set up, operate and troubleshoot grinders, read drawings, and verify tolerances with calipers and micrometers, while maintaining safety and quality.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of machine operation experience (CNC a plus), can lift up to 50 lbs, and thrives in a collaborative, goal-driven team.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of machine operation experience; CNC experience is a plus.
• Solid understanding of measurements, drawings and their application.
• Ability to lift, push & pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to use, read, and understand gauging equipment (calipers, micrometers).
• Grinding experience is highly preferred.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the General Manager, the Grinder Operator is responsible for ensuring components are created based on engineering and quality standards that satisfy our customer's requirements. The Grinder Operator will ensure proper production levels are met, while maintaining their machine and be diligent about keeping a clean and organized warehouse. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Actively administer job plans and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma, or equivalent
• 1+ year of machine operation work experience (CNC experience preferred)
• Solid understanding of measurements, drawings and their corresponding application
• Ability to lift, push & pull up to 50 lbs
• Ability to use, read, and understand gauging equipment (i.e. calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Grinding experience highly preferred.
