Grinding Operator / Casting Finisher

Full-Time | Manufacturing Environment

$20/hr

A Client of ours is looking for a Grinding Operator to support the finishing of cast metal components. This role focuses on using grinding and blending tools to remove excess material, improve surface finish, and ensure parts meet quality and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Grind and finish castings by removing gates, risers, and surface imperfections
• Use hand tools and grinding equipment to achieve required surface finishes
• Follow work instructions, job orders, and technical specifications
• Inspect parts during processing to ensure quality standards are met
• Complete production paperwork and track work accurately
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Identify and report defects or production issues

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and read basic work documentation
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Strong attention to detail and quality

• Ability to pass a vision test
