About The Role of a Grinder Operator:

We are seeking a skilled ID/OD Surface Grinder Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up and operating internal and external diameter grinding machines to produce precision components within tight tolerances.

Responsibilities of a Grinder Operator:

1. Operate and maintain surface grinders with high precision.
2. Learn to operate ID/OD grinders.
3. Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, gauges) to verify dimensions and ensure accuracy.

Preferred Experience:

2-5 years of experience operating grinding equipment, especially in precision grinding within manufacturing environments.

Additional Skills and Requirements:

• Mechanically inclined with a good understanding of tool and die processes.
• Proficient in using hand tools such as wrenches and screwdrivers.
• Ability to read job instructions and complete paperwork.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, lift, and sit as needed.
• Effective communication skills.

Compensation:

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour.
