Job summary

Kings Command Foods in Versailles, OH is hiring a Grinder Helper to support our production team in a fast-paced facility.

You will verify block percentages, prevent contamination, follow safety protocols, and assist when needed. Training in SQF, GMPs, HACCP, SOPs, and food defense is required.

Successful candidates must be 18+, eligible to work in the US, and able to work varying temperatures and extended hours Monday through Saturday.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Able to work in a variety of work temperatures: warm, hot, humid, cold, wet, or with slippery surfaces around moving equipment and parts.
• Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job.
• Ability to work extended scheduled hours Monday through Saturday with daily overtime; start times vary based on production needs.
• Must be able to successfully complete training: SQF, GMPs, HACCP, SOPs, Food defense.

Responsibilities

• Ensure boxes do not touch when handling blocks to prevent contamination.
• Inform the Lead when loading a product requiring two workers.
• Use proper lifting techniques when moving frozen blocks.
• Follow LOTO procedures.

• Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job.
• Ability to work extended scheduled hours Monday through Saturday with daily overtime. Must be able to work overtime as required. Start times and hours vary based on production needs.
• Must be able to successfully complete training:
• Safety – Safe Quality Food (SQF)
• Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP)
• Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Food defense

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior machine operating experience in a USDA-inspected beef, pork, or poultry facility.
• Prior production experience.
• Work history in the last 12 months.
