A Grinder position in Rogers, MN with Award Staffing is paying $20.00–$24.00/hr on 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM). Temp-to-hire opportunity for applicants with metal finishing or grinding experience.

This role involves rough grinding, polishing, and finishing aluminum and stainless steel while complying with safety and quality standards. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be able to lift up to 75 lbs with assistance, stand for extended periods, and operate power tools

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous metal finishing or grinding experience preferred.
• Lifting 50 lbs to 75 lbs with team lift as needed.
• Standing for long durations is expected.
• Use power tools and be comfortable with them.

Responsibilities

• Rough grinding of aluminum and stainless steel.
• Polishing and finish sanding of aluminum and stainless steel.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
