MacLean-Fogg in Buffalo, NY is seeking a skilled operator to run and maintain precision grinding and machining systems. You will perform setups from basic to advanced, conduct in-process inspections with calibrated gages, and perform planned preventive maintenance to ensure quality outputs.
The role requires strong shop math, the ability to read blueprints, and hands-on experience with inspection tools. You will also handle loading/unloading, assist with ancillary equipment, and maintain quality
This role is responsible for operating and maintaining up to two precision grinding or machining systems including ancillary automation, auto gages, and wash equipment — while consistently meeting quality and productivity standards. The operator performs setups ranging from basic to advanced, conducts in-process inspections using calibrated gages, and carries out planned preventive and minor corrective maintenance.
