Responsibilities

• Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
• Must be able to read and operate all types of department equipment and ensure products are within specification.
• Must be able to firmly grip all tools used with dominant hand, using proper technique to complete the required tasks.
• Visually inspect products or completed tasks.
• Must be able to ensure products are within specification.
• Required to read, write and communicate in English.
• Required to wear all safety and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• May be required to “fill‑in” for other positions when there is a need.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

• Will train as necessary allowing ninety (90) days to reach and maintain minimum daily production standards.

Language Skills

• Ability to speak effectively and communicate with others. Applies broad knowledge of products when speaking with others. Read, write and communicate in English.

Mathematical Skills

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers.

Reasoning Ability

• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables and situations where only limited experience may exist. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, full range of body motion to include lifting, twisting, bending reaching outward, pushing, pulling, bending and stooping.

• Stand on concrete surfaces, and can be exposed to indoor manufacturing environment with exposure to noise from equipment.
• Climb stairs.
• Must have the ability to work in a refrigerated environment of 35 to 45 degrees F.
• The job is fast paced and the ability to deal with stress is essential.

Work Environment

Full‑time regular positions that work Monday through Friday, generally work 8 hours per day, with minimal overtime. Travel is not required for this position.
