Job summary

Classic Club in Palm Desert, CA is seeking a part-time Grill Server for a seasonal role lasting up to 6 months. Compensation ranges from $16.90 to $17.90 per hour, depending on experience, with opportunities for service charge and employee meals.

The role covers front-of-house and back-of-house tasks in a fast-paced setting. Applicants must be 21+, have at least one year of cooking experience, and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Minimum of one year of cooking experience.
• Understand safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
• Knows how to operate POS and phone systems.
• Demonstrates proper cash handling and turn-in standards.
• Understands side work and cleanliness standards.
• Follows proper service sequence with guests.
• Knows dining room flow and reservation procedures.
• Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented and able to take direction.
• Must pass a background screening.

Responsibilities

Classic Club, located in Palm Desert, CA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Grill Server! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Role Type:

Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)

Compensation:

$16.90 - $17.90 per hour depending on experience

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Minimum of one year of cooking experience.
• Experience managing and upholding safe working conditions.
• Understanding of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
• Understands functions of Point of Sale (POS) and phone systems.
• Demonstrates proper cash handling and turn-in standards.
• Understands and demonstrates proper side work and cleanliness standards.
• Demonstrates proper service sequence with guests.
• Understands dining room flow mechanics.
• Understands reservation procedures.
• Understands how to communicate banquet information and take preliminary bookings.
• Must be dependable.
• Must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Must be able to take direction.
• Must pass a background screening.

Responsibilities will include both front-of-house and back-of-house tasks
