Job summary

ACGBBQ, LLC., a licensed Sonny’s BBQ franchisee, is looking for a BOH team member in Florida. You will cook, manage the grill, read orders, and follow all Sonny’s BOH procedures to deliver consistent quality in a fast-paced kitchen.

We value teamwork, multitasking, and strict sanitation as you perform prep, cooking, plating, and cleaning duties throughout your shift. Must be able to lift up to 90 pounds and work around hot equipment.

Qualifications

• Related experience and/or training in the restaurant industry.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
• Must be able to lift up to 90 pounds.
• Exposure to wet and/or humid conditions and cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Ability to cook.
• Memorize and apply Sonny’s BOH terminology and procedures.
• Navigate around kitchen equipment.
• Fully responsible for managing the grill.
• Operate frying equipment and bread grill.
• Read orders and process them per KDS.
• Maintain a clean workstation.
• Adhere to sanitary and food preparation guidelines.
• Perform cleaning duties during and after shift.
• Operate a meat slicer.
• Handle sharp knives safely.
• Willing to perform other duties as assigned.
