Job summary

AVI Foodsystems in Grove City, PA is hiring a Full-time Grill Cook for one of our dining accounts. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with NO weekends and NO holidays.

Duties include grilling, frying and sautéing, preparing ingredients, testing temperatures, managing inventory and keeping a clean, safe kitchen while promoting great customer relations. We offer competitive compensation and a family culture with training and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Deep fry, grill, and sauté meats, fish, vegetables and other foods.
• Observe and test foods being cooked by tasting, smelling and piercing.
• Perform food preparation work for cooking, including seasoning.
• Measure and mix ingredients according to recipe.
• Maintain proper grill cooking temperatures.
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment is clean and professional in appearance at all times.
• Manage food inventory.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Encourage good customer relations through product promotion.
