Responsibilities

• Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation.
• Completes orders from steam tables and serves customers at multiple stations.
• Serves customers efficiently and friendly following established steps of service and standards.
• Ensures food is at the correct temperature, attractive, tasty and tastes all items.
• Follows ticket-collection procedures during service and records area activity.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards to ensure quality and portion control.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays safely between workstations, stove and refrigerator.
• Stores foods in designated areas with proper wrapping, dating and rotation.
• Cleans, sanitizes and maintains all assigned areas and equipment to meet sanitation standards.
• Resolves customer concerns and reports information to supervisor.
• Attends in-service and safety meetings and maintains good coworker relationships.
• Performs duties safely in a clean, safe work environment and performs other duties as assigned.
