Job summary

TouchPoint Support Services is hiring immediate full-time and part-time Grill Cook positions at St Vincent Indianapolis, 2001 West 86th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46260. As a Grill Cook you will prepare items, serve customers, and follow safety and quality standards. Training is available, and benefits include parking and an onsite gym.

Schedule varies with weekdays and rotating weekends. We value teamwork and a customer-first approach, and prior grill experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous grill cook/cooking experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Takes orders from customer and prepares items requiring short preparation, completes orders from steam tables and serves customers at multiple stations.
• Serves customers in a efficient, friendly manner following established steps of service and ensures food is at correct temperature and tasty.
• Uses established ticket-collection procedures during service and maintains records from area worked.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards to ensure quality, temperatures and portions.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food safely between workstations and refrigeration areas.
