Overview

We are hiring immediately for part-time COOK positions at St. Vincent Indianapolis 86th St. (2001 West 86th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46260). Online applications accepted only.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, ensuring proper temperature, and attractive presentation.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety by following safe food-handling procedures; stores or discards excess food appropriately.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment; assists in production planning, record-keeping and reporting as required.
• Assists in ordering and receiving of all food and supplies; reports maintenance or safety issues to supervisor.
• Maintains professional relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers; adheres to all company policies and procedures.
• Follows HACCP standards and ensures proper presentation, portion control and serving temperatures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
