Job summary

Bon Appétit Management Company is hiring for a full-time Grill Cook at Saint Martin's University in Lacey, WA. The role involves preparing food at the grill station and serving customers, with a schedule of Sundays through Thursdays and specific shift times.

Prior fryer, broiler and flattop experience is preferred; training is available. We offer a competitive pay range of $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, free parking, a shift meal, and a uniform.

Qualifications

• Previous fryer, broiler, and flattop experience is preferred.
• Previous short order cooking experience is preferred.
• Willing to train!

Responsibilities

• Takes orders from customer and prepares items requiring short preparation.
• Serves customers in an efficient, friendly manner following established steps of service.
• Uses established ticket-collection procedures during service and records from area worked.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from workstations, stove and refrigerator safely.
• Stores foods in designated areas following standard wrapping, dating and food safety procedures.
• Cleans, sanitizes and maintains all assigned work areas and equipment.
• Resolves customer concerns and reports relevant information to supervisor.
• Attends in-service and safety meetings.
• Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
