We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time GRILL COOK positions.

Location: Monmouth Board Plan - 400 Cedar Avenue, West Long Branch, NJ 07764. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules. Monday through Friday, hours may vary. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Previous food service experience is preferred.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food and serves customers at the grill station in accordance with applicable standards and regulations to ensure high-quality food service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation. Completes orders from steam tables and serves customers at multiple stations.
• Serves customers efficiently and friendly, ensuring food is at the correct temperature and appealing.
• Uses established procedures during service and maintains records.
• Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure quality and proper portion control.
• Transports food safely within the work area.
• Stores foods following safety and rotation procedures.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
• Resolves customer concerns and reports issues to supervisor.
• Attends safety and in-service meetings.
• Maintains good relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
