Job Description for Grill Cook at University of Pitt Greensburg

Location: University of Pitt Greensburg

We are hiring immediately for a full-time and part-time GRILL COOK position.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepare food and serve customers at the grill station following federal, state, and corporate standards to ensure high-quality food service.

Essential Duties:

  • Take orders, prepare items requiring short prep, serve at multiple stations.
  • Serve customers efficiently and friendly, ensuring food quality and temperature.
  • Use proper ticket procedures, record keeping during service.
  • Follow recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
  • Transport food safely between stations.
  • Store foods properly, maintain sanitation.
  • Address customer concerns, report to supervisor.
  • Attend safety and in-service meetings.
  • Maintain good working relationships.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
