We are hiring immediately for full-time GRILL COOK positions.

Location: Census Bureau - 4600 Silver Hill Road, Suitland, MD 20746 Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, hours may vary. More details upon interview.

Requirements: Prep cook, grill cook, and customer service experience required.

Pay Range: $19.25 to $20.25 per hour

Job Summary

Prepares food and serves customers at the grill station according to standards and regulations to ensure high-quality food service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Take orders, prepare items requiring short preparation, and serve at multiple stations.
2. Serve customers efficiently and friendly, ensuring food quality, temperature, and presentation.
3. Use ticket-collection procedures and maintain records.
4. Follow recipes and standards for quality, temperature, and portions.
5. Transport food safely between workstations.
6. Store foods properly, following safety and rotation procedures.
7. Maintain sanitation of work areas and equipment.
8. Resolve customer concerns and report issues.
9. Attend safety and in-service meetings.
10. Maintain good relationships with coworkers and management.
11. Perform duties safely and maintain a clean environment.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.
