Job Opening: Grill Cook

We are hiring immediately for full-time GRILL COOK positions.

Location: SCAD Chatham - 609 Abercorn Street, Savannah, GA 31401. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, with varying days including nights and weekends. Hours: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm; more details provided during interview.

Requirements: Previous grill cook experience required.

Pay Range: $15.00 to $16.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Prepares food and serves customers at the grill station, ensuring high-quality food service in compliance with standards and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Take customer orders and prepare items requiring short preparation time; serve at multiple stations.
2. Serve customers efficiently and courteously, maintaining food quality and temperature.
3. Follow ticket-collection procedures and record keeping during service.
4. Use approved recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
5. Transport food safely between workstations, stove, and refrigerator.
6. Store foods properly, adhering to safety and rotation procedures.
7. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
8. Resolve customer concerns and report issues to supervisors.
9. Attend safety and in-service meetings.
10. Foster positive relationships with coworkers and customers.
11. Perform duties safely, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.
