Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food and serves customers at the grill station following federal, state, and corporate standards to ensure high-quality food service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Takes customer orders and prepares items requiring short preparation; completes orders from steam tables and serves customers at multiple stations.
2. Serves customers efficiently and friendly, ensuring food is at the correct temperature, attractive, and tasty. Tastes all prepared food items.
3. Uses established ticket-collection procedures during service and maintains records from the area worked.
4. Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure quality, proper serving temperatures, and portion control.
5. Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food safely to and from workstations, stove, and refrigerator.
6. Stores foods properly following safety, wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures.
7. Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains work areas, equipment, and utensils to meet sanitation standards.
8. Resolves customer concerns and reports relevant information to supervisors.
9. Attends in-service and safety meetings.
10. Maintains good relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
11. Performs job safely in a clean, safe environment.
12. Performs additional duties as assigned.
