Job Summary

Prepares food and serves customers at the grill station in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and corporate standards, guidelines, and regulations to ensure high-quality food service is provided.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation. Completes orders from steam tables and serves customers at multiple stations.
2. Serves customers efficiently and courteously, following established steps of service, ensuring food is at the correct temperature, attractive, and tasty. Tastes all prepared food items.
3. Uses established ticket-collection procedures during service. Responsible for records from the area worked during service periods.
4. Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
5. Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stove, and refrigerator following safety standards.
6. Stores foods properly in designated areas, following wrapping, dating, and food safety procedures.
7. Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains all work areas, equipment, and utensils to meet sanitation standards.
8. Resolves customer concerns and reports relevant information to the supervisor.
9. Attends in-service and safety meetings.
10. Maintains good relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
11. Performs job safely, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
