Job summary

Sodexo at University of Maine at Orono is seeking a Grill Cook to join our food service team. You’ll prepare nutritious dishes, focus on customer service, and work with a supportive crew in a fast-paced setting on campus.

Excellent teamwork and reliability are valued; 0–2 years of related experience is beneficial. Shifts vary with open availability preferred, and full-time employment is offered with a comprehensive benefits package.

• 0-2 years of related experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold foods for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and events.
• Read and measure ingredients according to recipes.
• May prepare food and serve customers at a la carte or operate grill/fryer/kitchen equipment.
• Attend shifts on time and with regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
