Job summary

American Dining Creations, a division of American Food & Vending, is seeking a Grill Cook for our Binghamton location. You will ensure accurate and efficient grilling, portioning, and presentation of menu items while delivering friendly service in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates bring hospitality experience with grill usage, strong knife skills, and a willingness to learn and grow within the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality/food service, using a grill or open flame.
• Basic knife skills preferred.
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
• Self-motivated and eager to take on additional roles.
• Dedicated to excellence in hospitality and guest dining experience.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for shifts.

Responsibilities

• Cook, grill and serve menu items at a designated station.
• Operate stove, flat top, open flame grill and other kitchen equipment.
• Transport pans, kettles, and trays safely between stations.
• Prepare and plate food per guest specifications.
• Store foods with proper wrapping, dating, and rotation.
• Maintain temperature logs and production records.
• Keep supplies stocked and perform inventory as directed.
• Set up and breakdown stations; sanitize equipment and utensils.
• Follow state/local food safety rules and sanitation standards.
• Focus on customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Communicate professionally with guests and team members.
• Maintain efficiency and organization.
• May operate POS and package to-go items.
• May take on additional duties as needed.
