Rivers Casino Des Plaines is seeking an enthusiastic Grill Cook to join our kitchen team. You will set up and break down stations, grill and saute9 a variety of items including steaks, seafood, chicken, pork and pastas, and ensure timely, accurate execution of orders in a high-volume environment.

Ideal candidates have solid knife skills, strong communication, the ability to work under pressure, and a neat appearance.

Qualifications

• Basic knife skills and organization are required.
• Strong communication with guests and team members.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Flexible shifts including holidays.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and breaks down station per production sheet.
• Grills and sautés foods such as steaks, seafood, chicken, pork and pastas and creates pan sauces.
• Receives, communicates and organizes all tickets with team members ensuring proper timing of food execution.
• Maintains sanitation and ensures timely, accurate food preparation.
• Monitors temperatures and adheres to FIFO and stock management.
