Job summary

American Dining Creations, a division of American Food & Vending, is hiring a Grill Cook for our Kansas City location. You will ensure high-quality grilling, proper presentation, and efficient service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include cooking, grilling, food prep, station setup, and maintaining safety standards while delivering excellent guest experiences. Prior hospitality experience and a willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Hospitality/food service experience with flat top/open flame grill.
• Basic knife skills are a plus.
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Self-motivated and eager to take on additional roles/responsibilities.
• Committed to excellence in hospitality and delivering a great dining experience.
• Ability to cross-train and utilize multiple skills.
• Safety and detail oriented.
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs, bend, walk, climb stairs, and stand for shifts.

Responsibilities

• Cook, grill and serve menu offerings within a designated station.
• Operate stove top, flat top, open flame grill and other kitchen equipment.
• Transport food safely between stations and storage areas.
• Prepare and serve food per guest specifications.
• Store foods properly with wrapping, dating and rotation procedures.
• Maintain temperature logs and production records.
• Keep supplies stocked and take inventory as directed.
• Set up and break down stations; clean and sanitize equipment and utensils.
• Adhere to food production, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Provide excellent service to guests and team members.
• Communicate professionally and stay organized.
• May operate POS for orders and to-go packaging.
• May be assigned other duties as needed.
