American Food & Vending is seeking a Grill Cook to prepare and plate menu offerings with precision at a designated station in Kirkwood, MO. You will operate stove tops, flat tops, and open flame grills while maintaining safety and quality standards.

In this fast-paced role, you’ll multitask, uphold food safety, and deliver friendly, attentive service to guests. Prior grill experience and a commitment to excellence are essential for success in our team environment.

Qualifications

• Prior hospitality/food service experience on a grill or open flame.
• Basic knife skills are a plus.
• Ability to learn quickly in a high-volume setting.
• Committed to hospitality excellence and guest experience.
• Willingness to cross-train and handle responsibilities safely.

Responsibilities

• Cook, grill and serve menu offerings at a designated station.
• Operate stove top, flat top and open flame grills and related equipment.
• Carry pans and trays safely between stations while following safety standards.
• Prepare and portion food according to guest specifications.
• Maintain proper food storage, dating and rotation procedures.
• Record production logs and keep temperature logs up to date.
• Restock supplies, manage inventory, and assist with station setup/breakdown.
• Comply with all local health, safety and sanitation regulations.
• Provide friendly, efficient service and assist guests as needed.
• May operate POS and package to-go items.
