Job summary

Goode Company is seeking a Grill Cook to execute a focused kitchen station with speed, consistency, and respect for ingredients and the guest experience. You will set up and maintain the grill station, manage temperatures, and cook proteins and vegetables to recipe standards.

Responsibilities include reading tickets, coordinating timing with the team, and ensuring food quality and safety. A Food Handler Certification is preferred and flexibility for early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• Grill cook or comparable high-volume kitchen experience preferred.
• Knowledge of station organization, cooking technique, timing, and sanitation.
• Ability to follow recipes, stay calm under pressure, and communicate with the team.
• Food Handler Certification

Responsibilities

• Set up, stock, and maintain the grill station for service.
• Manage grill temperature zones and cook proteins/vegetables to requested doneness.
• Prepare menu items to recipe, temperature, and portion standards.
• Read tickets and coordinate timing with line, expo, and service team.
• Monitor product quality, waste, and food-safety controls.
• Operate kitchen tools and equipment safely and report maintenance needs.
• Complete opening, closing, and cleaning duties thoroughly.
