Job summary

CC Holdings, Inc. is hiring friendly and detail-oriented Grill Cooks for the IGC Cafe located in the Indiana Government Center in Indianapolis, IN. Shifts are Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–2:30 pm, with weekends and holidays closed.

Qualifications

• Arrives in proper uniform and adheres to grooming standards.
• Sets up station according to cafe guidelines.
• Prepares all food items in a sanitary and timely manner.
• Follows portion control and presentation specifications.
• Restocks all items as needed throughout the shift.
• Cleans and maintains station with safety and sanitation.
• Maintains knowledge to properly use and maintain equipment.
• Assists with cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen and storage areas.
• Prepares dishes for customers with allergies or intolerance.
• Ensure quality and safety of food by sanitary measures and proper storage.
• Work at an efficient and consistent pace.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling.
• Effective communication skills.
• High flexibility and interpersonal skills for diverse environments.
• Attention to detail in all areas of work.
• Superior time management, multitasking, and prioritization.
• Willingness to assist in other tasks if needed.
• Prior high-volume kitchen experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food and serve customers at the grill station in accordance with federal, state, and corporate standards.
• Work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining organization and teamwork.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and storage procedures and ensure proper food handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, station, and storage areas.
• Assist in other kitchen tasks as needed and respond to special requests.
• Prepare dishes for customers with allergies or dietary restrictions.
