Job summary

Huddle House is seeking a Restaurant Cook to oversee grill operations and food preparation. You will ensure proper handling, storage, and quality while delivering excellent customer service and supporting the franchise partner as a strong teammate.

You will be responsible for preparing food, stocking, following safety policies, and maintaining efficient operations during shifts. This role emphasizes teamwork and consistent guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with all restaurant staff.
• Prior restaurant experience preferred.
• “Can do” attitude and willingness to be at your best during the shift.

Responsibilities

• Report to work on time in a clean and proper uniform.
• Greet all customers with a smile and a verbal greeting.
• Prepare food in a timely manner once the order is placed.
• Complete the position checklist while stocking and preparing the unit for the next shift.
• Bring all items of concern immediately to the attention of the manager, especially safety and customer service complaints.
• Know the menu, the daily features when applicable, and ensure they are cooked and presented correctly.
• Follow the Huddle House steps of service with each and every guest to maximize shift sales.
• Practice all rules for food handling, safety, cash security, and all other restaurant policies.
• Perform all prep and cleaning duties as detailed or assigned by the supervisor.
• Control waste and portion to help maintain food cost efficiency.
