Rivers Casino Des Plaines is hiring a Grill Cook to join our kitchen team. You will grill, sauté and plate items per recipes, manage tickets, and maintain prep and sanitation standards. This high-volume role requires strong knife skills, meat temperature knowledge, and the ability to communicate clearly with staff and guests.

Walk-in interviews are held Wednesdays from 12 PM to 2 PM at 2500 E. Devon Ave, Des Plaines, IL 60018. Free parking and shuttle service available.

Qualifications

• Basic knife skills and organization are required.
• Understanding of meat temperatures and proper cooking to spec.
• Strong communication with guests and team members is essential.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down station per production sheet.
• Grill and sauté steaks, seafood, chicken, pork and pastas.
• Communicate and organize tickets for timely food execution.
• Maintain sanitation and FIFO practices.
• Provide prompt, courteous guest service.
