Job summary

Rivers Casino Des Plaines is seeking courteous, customer-focused staff to provide beverage service and table support at the gaming floor and dining areas. Interviews are held on-site on Wednesdays from 12pm to 2pm at 2500 E.

Devon Ave, Des Plaines, IL 60018, with free parking and shuttle from Rosemont Blue Line Station. Candidates should be able to lift up to 20 pounds, stand and move for long periods, and work flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests and team members.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure during busy periods.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and days, including holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide service to casino customers in a efficient, courteous, and professional manner of a high standard.
• Take drink orders, present drinks to customers, clear tables and serve food.
• Maintain a clean station at all times and perform assigned side work duties (stock coffee, glasses, napkins, etc.).
• Know menu items, specials, and prices; handle guest complaints promptly and courteously.
• Ensure thorough communication between shifts and stay up to date on department policies.
