Job summary

Compass Group is hiring for Grill Cook positions at Northern Kentucky University (Highland Heights, KY). Hours are full-time or part-time, with a 2:00 pm–9:00 pm schedule, Sunday through Thursday. Pay ranges from $14 to $17 per hour, with training available for new hires.

Prior grill cook experience is preferred and benefits are offered for full-time staff. Responsibilities include grilling, serving customers, following recipes, and maintaining food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Takes orders and prepares items requiring short preparation at the grill station.
• Serves customers efficiently while maintaining standards for temperature, appearance and taste.
• Uses established ticket-collection procedures and maintains records during service.
• Follows approved recipes and production standards for quality and portions.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays safely between work areas and equipment.
• Cleans, sanitizes and maintains work areas and utensils to ensure sanitation.
