Job summary

Southern Foodservice Management, a national contract foodservice company, is hiring a Grill Cook for our Voya location in Atlanta, GA. The role offers a 5:00 AM – 2:00 PM shift, Monday – Thursday with occasional Fridays and evenings. Transportation is required as there is no bus line.

You will operate the Grill Station, prepare and serve grill items, maintain temperatures and logs, and keep areas clean; catering support may be required.

Qualifications

• Physical requirements include lifting up to 40 lbs and standing for long periods.
• Adherence to food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures is required.
• Willingness to work early shifts, occasional Fridays and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Grill Station during meal periods, preparing and serving grill items.
• Assist with food preparation and cooking of sides and other items as needed.
• Set up and stock Grill, Deli, and Salad Bar for service per schedule.
• Cook menu items to correct temperatures and maintain food temperature logs.
• Maintain clean service areas, replenish items, and provide attentive service.
• Break down and clean areas after each meal period and support catering events as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company conduct guidelines.
