We are looking for a Cook to join our team. This is an opportunity to work in a fun, encouraging culture with strong training and benefits.

A Grill Cook is primarily responsible for the preparation of food to the highest quality and in accordance with all company and food safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare foods according to specs and stock and keep kitchen and all areas clean.
• Ensure food areas are clean and properly stored at the end of each shift according to health specifications.
• Ticket and date food items with the employee name to ensure freshness; ensure stocked items are received and accounted for.
• Assist in all areas of the Kitchen. Wash all work areas including refrigerator and utensils; break down and remove trash and boxes to proper areas.
• Rotate and label all food with date, time and employee name.
• Stock all foods in cooler on proper shelves to meet health regulations. Record and report all loss due to spoilage or overproduction.
• Maintain regular attendance as required by HGVC standards.
• Cary out reasonable requests by management.

What are we looking for?

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

• 1-2 years of culinary experience to include grill and cold prep
• High School / GED
• Great teamwork skills and attention to detail

Helpful capabilities

• Current food safety certification
