The role requires a high school diploma or GED, plus 1+ year of short order cooking experience in a fast-paced kitchen and formal culinary training within the past five years. Health facilities cooking knowledge is a plus.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Minimum of 1 or more years of short order cooking in a fast-paced environment.
• Formal culinary training within 5 years.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• Formal culinary training.
• Health facilities cooking experience or health care nutrition knowledge.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• Food Safety and Sanitation Certification within 1 year.
