Job summary

Dream burger is seeking a Grill Cook to run our grill station at events, festivals, and catering. You'll lead the line during high-volume service, delivering fast, high-quality meals to guests. You will train teammates, manage prep and inventory, and maintain food safety and cleanliness.

You will coordinate with ownership to report needs and optimize service flow. Requirements include at least 1 year of grill/kitchen experience, ability to stand long hours, lift 20–50 lbs, and obtain Food

Responsibilities

• Run the Grill Station during fast-paced, high-volume events (events, breweries, festivals, and private catering).
• Lead the Line to coordinate the kitchen team and maintain speed and quality under pressure.
• Train and support other cooks to perform at their best.
• Prep work and inventory management to keep station ready for service.
• Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and health code standards during service.
• Communicate supply needs and report equipment issues to ownership.

Join Our Team as a Grill Cook!

Are you a skilled grill cook with a knack for thriving in fast-paced environments? Do you enjoy the hustle and energy of events, festivals, and catering? If so, we’d love to have you on board! We’re a mobile food truck specializing in event and facility-focused service, and we’re looking for a talented individual to run our grill station and lead the line during high-volume service.

What You’ll Be Doing

As our Grill Cook, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our food truck runs smoothly and delivers delicious, high-quality meals to our customers. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:

• Run the Grill Station: Take charge of the grill during fast-paced, high-volume service at events, breweries, festivals, and private catering gigs.
• Lead the Line: Coordinate the kitchen team during rushes, maintaining consistent speed and quality under pressure.
• Train and Support: Set the standard for the line by training and guiding other cooks to perform at their best.
• Prep and Inventory: Manage prep work, inventory checks, and stock levels to ensure your station is always ready to go.
• Maintain Standards: Uphold food safety, cleanliness, and health code standards throughout service.
• Collaborate with Ownership: Communicate supply needs, report equipment issues, and provide feedback on service flow.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who brings skill, energy, and leadership to the table. The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of grill cooking and kitchen operations.
• The ability to stand for long periods and lift 20-50 lbs comfortably.
• A passion for working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
• Posses or be able to obtain Food Manager certification immediately upon hire.
