Job summary

Sodexo at University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire is seeking a Grill Cook to join our culinary team. You will prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold items, focusing on customer service and teamwork to brighten the day of those we serve.

This full-time role features varied workdays and shifts, with pay at $17.60 per hour. Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of related kitchen experience and a reliable, adaptable attitude.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods: to include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
• Read and measure/mix ingredients according to recipe(s).
• May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
