Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Grill Cook at Concordia University Wisconsin. You will work afternoon/evening shifts, prepare and present hot and cold menu items, and focus on customer service and food quality in a team setting.

The role suits someone with 0–2 years of experience, who is reliable, adaptable, and safety-minded, and who can thrive in a busy campus dining environment with flexible scheduling. Pay is $17–$19 per hour with benefits and opportunities for development.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
• Read and measure ingredients according to recipes.
• May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment.
• Attend work and show up on schedule on time.
• Other duties may be assigned based on client requirements.

As a Grill Cook at Sodexo, you are a team player and food waste reducer. You’ll prepare and create nutritious dishes while putting customer service at the heart of everything you do. Your passion for food and warm smile will make a positive impact and brighten the day of those you serve.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods: to include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
• Read and measure/mix ingredients according to recipe(s)
• May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
