Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Grill Cook in Columbus for weekdays morning shifts. You’ll prepare and present a variety of hot and cold menu items, focus on quality, accuracy, and customer service, and work as part of a collaborative kitchen team.

The role is full-time with competitive pay and benefits. Candidates with 0–2 years of related experience are welcome and training is provided in a supportive, safety-minded environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
• Read and measure/mix ingredients according to recipe(s).
• May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.

As a Grill Cook at Sodexo, you are a team player and food waste reducer. You’ll prepare and create nutritious dishes while putting customer service at the heart of everything you do. Your passion for food and warm smile will make a positive impact and brighten the day of those you serve.

• Read and measure/mix ingredients according to recipe(s)

• May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment

• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity

• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
