Job summary

Sodexo at COLORADO SCHOOL OF MINES is seeking a Grill Cook to join our on-site dining team. You will prepare and present a variety of hot and cold items with a focus on quality and customer service.

You’ll work with a dedicated team in a flexible schedule, with shifts that vary by day and event. The position is full-time and offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

• 0–2 years of related experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and events.
• Read and measure ingredients according to recipes.
• May operate a grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment while serving customers.
• Attend scheduled shifts on time with reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as needed per client requirements.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $22 - $25.79

What You’ll Do

As a Grill Cook at Sodexo, you are a team player and food waste reducer. You’ll prepare and create nutritious dishes while putting customer service at the heart of everything you do. Your passion for food and warm smile will make a positive impact and brighten the day of those you serve.

Responsibilities include

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods: to include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
• Read and measure/mix ingredients according to recipe(s)
• May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
