Job summary

Sodexo in Merrimack, NH is seeking a Grill Cook to join our kitchen team. This full-time role offers an hourly wage of $22.25 and requires flexible, open availability; you’ll help prepare and present a range of hot and cold dishes with a focus on quality and customer service.

You'll work with a team, learn recipes, handle grill and fryer equipment, and support a safe, clean cooking environment. We provide training, benefits, and opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of related kitchen/food service experience.
• Ability to read recipes and measure ingredients.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, grill, and present hot and cold items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and events.
• Read and measure ingredients according to recipes.
• May operate grill, fryer, and other kitchen equipment.
• Attend and be on time for scheduled shifts.
• Other duties as required by business needs.

What You’ll Do:

As a Grill Cook at Sodexo, you are a team player and food waste reducer. You’ll prepare and create nutritious dishes while putting customer service at the heart of everything you do. Your passion for food and warm smile will make a positive impact and brighten the day of those you serve.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods: to include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
• Read and measure/mix ingredients according to recipe(s)
• May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
