Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Grill Cook in Saint Joseph, Missouri. You will join a team, prepare a variety of hot and cold dishes, and emphasize customer service with a friendly, efficient approach to food preparation.

You'll work weekdays with morning and afternoon/evening shifts, earn $16 to $25.79 per hour, and enjoy a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth within a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of related kitchen experience preferred.
• Team-oriented and reliable with a focus on safety.
• Willingness to learn and follow recipes and food prep procedures.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
• Read and measure/mix ingredients according to recipe(s).
• May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
