Hef’s Hut Bar & Grill at Great Gorge Golf Club in Vernon, NJ is seeking a friendly Grill Attendant to join our culinary team. You will prepare and cook a variety of grilled items, serve guests, and keep the grill area clean and organized while upholding high safety standards.

Responsibilities include following recipes, monitoring portions, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a grill or cooking position, preferably in a golf club, restaurant, or similar setting.
• Knowledge of grilling techniques and food preparation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

• Prepare, grill, and serve a variety of food items, including burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, and other menu items.
• Ensure all food is cooked correctly and presented attractively.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels and direct any inventory needs to the Front of House Supervisor and kitchen.
• Provide excellent customer service, taking orders and interacting with guests in a friendly manner.
• Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to maintain consistency and quality.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards.
• Serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to guests.

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Grill Person to join our culinary team at Great Gorge Golf Club.. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of grilled foods for our members and guests, ensuring high-quality standards and exceptional service.
