Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Grievance and Appeals Intake Specialist to review, research and enter cases within one business day of receipt. You will monitor multiple intake channels, prioritize requests, and classify cases by type and processing requirements while collaborating with QA and project teams to ensure accuracy.

In this full-time role, you’ll participate in weekly team meetings, adapt to evolving procedures, and uphold high standards of accuracy and productivity to support members,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience.
• Working knowledge of problem solving and decision making.
• Strong data entry capabilities.
• Grievance and appeals experience.

Responsibilities

• Review, research, and enter grievance and appeal cases within one business day of receipt.
• Monitor intake sources (call tracking, fax, email, mail) and prioritize requests.
• Intake various case types (member/provider grievances/appeals) and determine processing requirements.
• Maintain organization and prioritization to handle urgent requests timely.
• Collaborate with QA to ensure accurate data entry and completeness.
• Participate in weekly team meetings with intake coordinators, analysts, QA and project managers.
• Adapt to changing procedures, requirements, priorities, and workflows while maintaining accuracy.
